Awesome kit
These kits have the best reputation as far a .22 kits for Glock, and I’m really glad I finally went for it. The fit and finish are excellent; it looks just like an OEM slide but fits a bit more snug(in a good way; there’s no rattle when it’s in battery). With the recommended ammo types I’m confident this kit will function well. Stay away from 22 conversion kits unless you like unjamming guns!.
Way too many jams to be enjoyable. Every other magazine would jam so it was difficult to concentrate on shooting practice. Worth every penny
Love this upper. Finished off the 9mm I brought to the range then quickly swapped the Glock 17 upper with the Advantage Arms .22LR, no adjustments or alterations needed. I ran around 200 rounds of 22LR through it with virtually no problems, only a couple misfires. Not sure if it was the ammo type (not on Advantage Arms recommended list), the Advantage Arms upper itself, or the interaction between the AA upper and the Glock lower. None the less it was fun to shoot at a fraction of the cost of 9mm, not to mention no recoil lol.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellently made. I used 200 grit sandpaper and WD-40 spray on the barrel parts. Then,2,000 grit with WD-40 spray. Slip2000 oil to lube. Used a dremal type tool to round off the "rail tabs" on my Glock lower receiver. All four (4) "rail tabs" had a sharp edge that caused drag. I learned this from Johnny Glock on YouTube. Flawless operation with CCI Mini-Mags ammo. Pay attention NOT to rest your thumbs on this light weight slide. It will cause a malfunction. I love saving money on ammo. The best 22 conversion ever!
This is the BEST 22 conversion I have ever used. It makes my glock 34 my favorite gun with it in. Works smooth! I put 600 rounds of CCI 40 gr round nose solid point through it with one stove pipe only. Its very accurate and very high quality. Fits the 17 and 34 frame. It also works flawlessly on a P80 frame. Very happy with my purchase.

EXCELLENT product!
I have owned a total of three of these that I have purchased over the past 10 years or so. 2 for the G17/G22 size frame and 1 for the G19/G23 size frame I use them for training Law Enforcement, Federal Security contractors and every day shooters. They are also fun for plinking for pennies compared to the high cost of ammo these days. This tool allows a user to focus on grip, trigger manipulation, sight alignment, stance, etc... without the recoil and muzzle blast of the larger calibers. It is MUCH more useful that buying another gun because it allows you to use the EXACT gun with the SAME trigger when you transition back to the larger caliber. I have helped countless shooters sharpen their skills with this great tool. Inexpensive pratice!
Most of us love to go to the range & practice with our firearms. Doing so can get very exspensive even if you reload your ammo yourself. But .22 is the most inexpensive ammo I know of, even compared to reloading. If you have a Glock or a Glock style 80% handgun this is a great addition to your range bag. Just remove your 9mm slide & replace it with this set-up, place the proper magazine in & go to shooting. This Advantage Arms .22 complete slide, slides right on the frame with no problems. Be sure and read & follow the instructions, it is a slight bit different than a standard slide. One way being "Do NOT dry fire after installing the slide", unless you are removing the slide from the frame. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase & really wish I'd purchased one sooner. They are available for most versions of the Glock series of pistols, & I highly recomend getting one maybe even two, depending on if you have a G17 and or a G19!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
