    Can't ask for more....

    We'd gotten a vent-free heater and it left wet windows and puddles on the floor in our new 18 x 24 x 9' space. Then it would shut itself off. Purchased this vented heater and have had nothing but good results since. My husband and a friend installed it the afternoon it came and the propane people approved the hook-up and installed the tanks the next day. It gave us a winter's worth of heat here on the Canadian border and I expect it will continue to do so. It has not significantly changed our fuel consumption. The heating bill went up less than $20 a month. I am very happy with this heater. It is absolutely sound free. I have to put my hand over the vents to know when it is running. We were not enthusiastic about the thermostat that came with the unit but purchased one that satisfied my ...

    Great heat back up in a power outage

    I live out in the sticks and wanted a back up heat source in case of a power outage. It took about 2 weeks for the freight company to deliver the heater, then it took me about 3 weeks to cut the hole in the side of the house for the vent, assemble all the fittings and valves that I needed to hook up the propane line, and then hook up the thermostat, I was not in a big hurry to hook it up at my age (76) but I finally got it all done. Firing it up the first time you get some burn off fumes that stink up the house a little, but that happens with all new furnaces, just be aware that it happens... After that it was all smooth sailing... great heat and absolutely silent; no noisy fans, just nice heat. works great... this is something that everyone should have as a back up, in case of a power ...
