    Compromises for sure but great value plus vision adjustments

    I don't use VR headsets for much. Sure when Google cardboard first came out, I jumped on some Star Wars themed ones that were being given away by Verizon about 5 years ago. Well, Google calls them cardboard for a reason. They are made of cardboard and NOT very comfortable to use but did the job and even included a touch action button. Step forward to 2017 when Google introduced the Daydream. Had optical quality lenses, padding around your face, an adjustable head strap and a Bluetooth controller instead of a mechanical touch "finger" action button. Downsides to those above? Not glasses friendly and both steamed up quickly and heated up your phone when playing CPU intensive games. No adjustments for eye distance or pupil distance, so some videos were blurry.
