    Entertaining and Instructive

    I saw only part of the series when it was on PBS in the 90s, so wanted to be able to watch the entire 4 seasons. Jennifer and Clarissa are quite the team and very entertaining. They are very knowledgeable regarding the history of food, mostly British food history, and the recipes are very interesting.

    Good old school cooking show from England.

    Watched this for years on the BBC America Channel, then they stopped running it. Until now I didn't find a Region 1 set. This is Region 1, brand new set. I am very pleased to reconnect with the two characters cooking their way through England.

    When you are in the mood for entertainment

    I'm old enough to remember watching this show when it originally aired. It has "stood the test of time" for me and is just as entertaining as it was then. The ladies are, in short, an absolute "hoot!" Highly recommend it.
