Historic band with a unique style!
First album has some good cuts. 2nd album I like the best-- more uplifting. 3rd album has two real winners that sound like that could have gone well with the 2nd album. The live album is an interesting look at a later live performance. (I saw them live when they were trotting out IN-A-GADDA-DA-VIDA in Portland, Or. What an amazing performance that was. They were going thru some changes by the 4th album. Altogether a good sonic overview of an unique sounding band with some smashing numbers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A great collection of the Iron Butterfly albums. I am a fan of Iron Butterfly. The songs like are Unconscious Power, Termination, and Belda Beast. Great collection of Iron Butterfly's early albums. Definitely a product of its time and acid rock at its best! Iron Butterfly were not, by far, the best 60's band and their music is many times characterized as "you had to be there" to appreciate it, but I love the mini lp covers and clean, remastered sound.
