Great speakers for the price
I replaced my door speakers in my 99 Subaru impreza with these. The PO had installed some el cheapo's and after 8 years of me owning the car they sounded blown. These have a good solid bass note and the tweeters I mounted in where I should have factory tweeters if my car was equipped with them. They sounded so good I couldn't hear the back speakers which I replaced with another set of CW speakers. I've had Cerwin Vega shelf speakers in my shop for years that sound amazing. Clean and simple
Every install is different, but put these in a regular cab Silverado. Drilled out the dash and mounted the tweeters, mounted the 6.5s in the door. Needed a quick replacement for my blown alpines. The vegas actually sound worlds better than the alpines ever did. Same set up, same truck, better sound.
