    Good for Windows XP or 7.

    After receiving it, it would not boot into Windows. Reloaded Windows 7 & drivers and now working fine. With 4 gb of ram, fast laptop. Wireless internet, sound, and video working well. Limited support by Dell.

    Wrong Listing

    I believe this product was not listed correctly I think it was a used computer instead of a refurbished because I have bought refurbished products for years from ebay and when I received this it was getting to hot to fast as a matter of fact I have had it about 3 weeks and it has gotten so hot it has effected the video card and picture has done started going away thought it would have lasted longer.

    Dell Latitude WinXP

    The laptop is very nice. Just took me a while to remember how to do things in Windows XP after using Windows 10 for quite a few years. The main reason that I wanted XP worked very well. I am happy with it.

    Purchase of Dell 4GB W10 Refurb Latitude

    I thought there may be a problem with it running slower. That was not the case. I was able to customize it for ease of use upgrade for my customer. The only concern was in W10 being able to set the mouse. I could not get it to work to left mouse even though it was set or double click. It was probably me. Otherwise I was able to give great tech support without training and the machine runs well for a part time novice user.

    an oldie but goodie

    a good legacy laptop, somewhat heavy by today's standards but extremely durable, reliable and versatile to boot. I have owned four of these. some have Nvidia nvs140 GPU which is quite capable of acceptable laptop graphics(not high end graphics but simple okay). Mine have been minimal 2.0 GHZ PROCESSING SPEED UP TO 2.5 GHZ. I would recommend 4 GB RAM. I have upgraded to 1 TB internal HD. a very useful laptop / desktop computer that easily runs WINDOWS XP, 7 8 AND 10, linux, CENTOS, Fedora or Knoppix etc. Bang for buck hard to beat. Run Friday Night lLghts Bowling with Direct X okay, Tiger Woods PGA tour golf okay, Bode Miller downhill skiing, Frogger okay. runs Microsoft's Visual Basic 6.0, ACCESS 2007, OFFICE etc. Runs Real Flight fight simulator for RC too.
