Great tasting WARM coffee every time
Great tasting coffee at my favorite temperature every time. Product was easy to set up and works as described. My coffee comes out of my Brewer at 147 degrees. I like it at 135 degrees. You have to be prepared to accept some technology with your tea or coffee
The hardware seems to be of good construction. The headache came from trying to install the app on the phone. The software is required to set and monitor the temperature of the liquid inside the mug. I couldn't get it to install so I started reading the reviews of the app and found that it mandated that location services be enabled on the phone. Once I enabled location services the app installed without a problem. Why are location services required for me to set the temperature of the coffee in my mug? The only reason I can think of is that the owners of the app sell the tracking info for a tidy profit. Anyhow, back to the mug. It doesn't have a big power reserve when the mug is off the saucer so don't expect this to work for hours. It won't. It will last long enough for a slow and distracted drink. One more thing to keep in mind is that this cannot go through the dishwasher, so all washing will need to be done by hand. Good but doesn't go quite hot enough
The product works fine but the maximum temperature it is capable of holding is just about where my husband wants to reheat his coffee, so if it had another 10 degrees of heating ability it would be fabulous. Thermos vs. Ember - depends on use case
