About this product

Product Information

Uh-oh! Krusty's got a rat infestation. With all of these mischievous purple critters running around, who would ever want to visit Krusty's Fun House?

As Krusty, it's your job to rid your fun house of the rats. You're not alone in your task, though. Bart and Homer have helped develop some traps and are there to assist you at times. In order for the rats to fall for the traps, you'll have to move blocks, connect pipes, find secret passageways, wreck floors and walls, and do lots of other fun things. Antagonists such as snakes, flying pigs, and aliens can be defeated with Krusty's trusty custard pies to use as weapons. The Fun House is composed of five sections, each consisting of up to 14 levels, so the clown's got his work cut out for him.

  • Yes, it's as good as you remember.

This game is one that's actually as much fun as you remember it being, as opposed to others you picked up for first time in twenty years & suddenly realize you were wearing 8-but tinted glasses. Krusty's Fun House features Herschel Krustovski himself as the protagonist, ridding his factories of rodents. A 2d platform scroller, it's driving selling point is that it's a puzzle-game far more than a jump & dodge, SMB style. In each smaller section of a level, your goal is direct the vermin from Point A, their hidey hole, to Point B, B as in Bart, as in Bart & a death machine. Elements of timing, logic, speed, and more make each level different, including some that can be solved in more than one way. For the price, I recommend this game for any of it's platforms. Especially for a casual collector, it's a good title to have for a system like, say, Game Gear, just so you can fire it up when the whim strikes you.
