    GlobalSat ND-105C micro USB GPS Receiver

    I am using this with an Android TV Box (MX10 3328 Rockwell chip), mainly to use with DirecTV Sunday Ticket app that requires real GPS, no WiFi substitute nor no mock mode emulation. MX10 is seen as tablet but no h/w GPS. It works great, large 70" TV screen using tablet/external keyboard controls. but no documentation for the USB GPS. Fortunately the compatible drivers built in the Linux/Android MX10 OS. But took some to find an app to provide the data to Sunday Ticket.

    a superb GPS receiver

    I run Microsoft's last Streets and Trips (2013 release) on Windows 10. The three Microsoft GPS units I bought with various releases of S&T over the years are unrecognized by Windows 10. This GlobalSat GPS unit was immediately recognized and utilized (and I was not required to edit the registry nor "play games" with my W10 or S&T configurations. It simply worked, first time, out of the box. I was indoors, had it sitting on a windowsill; it had no problem finding enough satellites to determine my location. I highly recommend this device to anyone who needs a high quality, relatively low cost GPS receiver.

    Works with Fire HD 8

    To use with the Amazon tablets you need to install the app they recommend and enable "mock locations". The special trick is tapping the Serial Number line in settings About until the Developer Options appear. Then you can enable "mock locations". The device seems to work with either side up which is good because the Fire USB plug is upside down. Fast acquisition of location.
