    Spreads easily and feels soft.

    I never used this product until I received a free sample when I bought a SmashBox. I have very sensitive skin, so I was concerned about it being irritating in some way. Instead, I love it! It is soft, spreads easily, and what I think it does is provide a simple foundation for the powder. It feels good, and I think it helps the powder last longer. I was surprised by this product, because I am fairly skeptical about most beauty products.

    Maybe I missed something?

    I have been waiting a while to try Smashbox photo finish forever. Rave reviews everywhere especially for combo to oily skin. I have to say that I am super sad it didnt work for me. The texture was nice, both on my finger tips and face. Smell was just fine. But when it came to smooth and blur ... I have to say it did neither. It could just be me. Idk how everyone else loves this stuff and im trying to love it and cant even like it. Sorry but no go for me.

    Really wanted this to be "the one"

    Compared to the Avon primer, it is slightly better but unfortunately didn't work for me. FYI, I am in my late 50's with large pores. I allowed it about 3 minutes to dry including fanning my face, but when I applied my make up it went into my pores as usual and I had a face filled with dots. SO disappointed. I may try leaving the lid off over-night as someone suggested so it can thicken a bit. If that works I'll post another review. If you don't have large pores you may not have any problems! I suggest getting the smallest size if trying it out.

    Excellent Primer

    This is a very good makeup primer. I have very large pores on my nose & chin & wouldn’t do without this primer. Used it for the past five years. This does not add additional problems to cause breakouts and works with liquid or pan-cake makeup coverage. The “photo finish-oil free works best on my skin.

    Tried to compare

    I have bad scars on my face so I wanted to try all the popular primers. I started with this one and the nyx brand. For this one to be so expensive it's very comparable to NYX pore filler. My conclusion is to keep getting the NYX and use the smashbox when I have to.
