    Best coffee ever but it comes at a price well worth it though nice features

    I had a OXO 9-cup sewing machine but the coffee was hit or miss sometimes hot sometines not that hot. The main thing is I was only brewing 12 ozs at a time. Now that I got this moccamaster not only is the coffee very hot The moccaamaster brews within seconds it is starting so much faster and it taste great.I have wanted a moccamaster for 5-years now I have one so happy.You would not be disappointed unless you are hard on things this is fragile the plastic parts are thin. So if you get mad I would stay away from this . I would only hand wash /rise the parts not made for dishwasher. It could last 10-yrs if taken care of.Ibought the newest version with auto off. It also shuts off coffee basket automatically when you pull out the glass coffee pot very nice.I bought a open box and saved ...

    Hopefully the last coffee maker I buy for a while...

    The wife and I usually brew coffee twice a day. We have been through our share of the cheap, throw away coffee makers. Had a Bunn and an icoffee also. But they seem to only last about 2 years max for us. Read the reviews on the Moccamaster, and it seemed like the one for us. It brews smooth coffee, and quickly too. It does wonders for the flavor of preground coffee. We normally use whole bean and grind it ourselves with a small rotary blade grinder. But a better burr grinder that makes more consistent grounds would be the better choice for this coffee maker to bring out the best. That will be our next purchase. The only gripe I have on this coffee maker is the huge power cord. It’s a little cantankerous. If you love your coffee and want something that’s going to last, spend a little more ...
