As it says on the did it is for a dell windows 7 home premium so I can’t say the disc is at fault. My laptop cashed and would not boot. I did get an error message that the install disc had a problem and couldn’t do the install. Again, the disc is for a dell and my laptop is an HP and that is why I gave the discs positive rating.
