. The battery life is better than any other device I own. I like the weight and feel of the phone. The screen size is what I like almost as much as the battery life. I'm not brand loyal, so the thought of the Samsung or Apple products doesn't resonate with me. I have a company iPad and I do love that device, but I feel like I'd rather get a new $200 every few years and buy whatever is cheap at the moment. This Honor 6x fits the bill.

Great phone in all aspects , till the automatic phone upgrade, now the screen keeps going into sleep mode and the setting to increase the display time off,has been blacked out....thx huawei geniuses. I will have to reset the phone (....what a waste of time).

This is from a newcomer to the smartphone scene, so I'll have my biases. With that set aside, I really like this phone. After doing about a week of research, I settled on this phone as the best compromise between features, performance and price. It feels responsive to my inputs, has a very good battery (general use with no power savings easily yields 12 hours of battery, with two settings to stretch it further). The camera is great and the second lens for picture sharpening is an underrated feature and is typically only found on higher priced phones. User interface is typical but it's nice to be able to control what's on your phone at a nice price point and choosing who your carrier is is also nice, just be aware that it is a GCM phone. A couple things that may not be desirable is the phone does feel big and the phone feels slightly heavier on one side rather than being neutrally balanced. People with smaller hands, reduced dexterity or children may have a longer adjust period. This is a minor drawback and I adjusted quickly from my now returned cheapo phone from a brick and mortar retailer. If I could, I would leave a 4.5 rather than a 5, but 4 would feel a bit harsh, because I really do enjoy this phone.Read full review

I've had this phone for a couple weeks now, and it doesn't disappoint. I'm a heavey user, and I still get a day and a half easy. I haven't really played games on it, but I expect that it'll be great as well. it's a good build, great specs, and interesting new software. There are a few bugs with how EMUI 5.1 deals with thing like Facebook, but they're just little flaws. So if you can look past things like a video pasueing and looping a second or two a few times when you like the video, then you'll be fine. The software has a lot to offer and I'm enjoying it thoroughly. I'd recommend this phone to just about anyone. I plan to update this in a month or so with any new developments.

Bought this for my son and though he has only had it about 2 weeks, so far he likes it and is a good value. We just need a good phone with a few nice options. We got that as the 3 LG phones baled on him really quick. The rest of us have the BLU phones which are also great, after 2 years and still going. My son wanted to try something different to see how good it might be. He likes the look and feel and the software and the fingerprint scanner. And a very nice camera, much like the BLU phones. He's happy so I am happy. Happy Dad

Unless you are a hard core gamer, this smartphone should meet most of your needs. I surf the net, check email, and watch videos and listen to music on this phone. I use the pay as you go H2O plan $10 for 90 days, which gives me about 200 minutes or text. Since I use WIFI most of the time, the $10 is enough. The battery lasts me about three days.

My coworker recommended this phone to me & I love the 5.5 screen, the health feature that counts your steps, the brightness & clarity. The speaker is not very loud when you press the microphone but I would recommend getting a Bluetooth earpiece

My wife wanted an upgrade from her iPhone 5S. I was very happy when she suggested The Huawei because of the price point. If you are an iPhone man like myself this won't satisfy you. However, the battery life is tremendous! At the end of the work day she still has 70 to 70% Many times she had to recharge her iPhone at work. It's also cool that she can do a few cool stuff with the fingerprint reader like browsing thru photos and stopping the alarm. The fingerprint reader is just as fast iPhone. Trust me this is a great phone for the money

The phone all round up and for the price its a steal its a awesome device but the only gripe is that when you are on a phone call and have the dual sims set up one of the lines get cut out while you are in a phone call with the other SIM card for some people is not a problem but for me it is specially because I made an upgrade from the honor 5x to the 6X don't get me wrong it's a blast and it's a huge I will say a major update but on the 5x I used to do a phone call with one sim card and while I was talking and one sim card and one line people can still call me on the other line and I can receive the phone call but on the 6x is not the case I'm on a phone call and it will automatically block all the calls that are coming in from the other SIM card so that's a downside but still it's a good phone I totally recommend it specially for the battery the camera and the performance is a little suspect but it has a decent performance.Read full review

I have been a Verizon customer for about 10 years. Due to reasons I won't go into, I decided to change to AT&T. Naturally had to get a new phone. I had been using an HTC One M8 for nearly two years. Except for a few things, I was fairly happy with it. Okay. Started doing a little research. I refused to pay upwards of a grand for a new GSM phone. These people are getting insane with their prices. Then I discovered this Huawei brand. Did some more research and came upon the Honor 6X. What? Can't be worth crap for $250.00 can it? Decided to take a chance. Best move I ever made. To begin with, it is as solidly built, with mostly aluminum case as any phone, including the HTC One, that I have ever come across. How about battery life. Now please understand, I am not surfing the web constantly but I do use a golf app for 18 holes. But I charge it over night and can go TWO FULL DAYS and still have about 30 percent left. Incredible. The screen is brilliant, colors are crisp without being over saturated and the operating system works smoothly and quickly with Marsh mellow, soon to be upgraded to Nougat I am told. It takes gorgeous pictures and this was before I started really looking at everything the camera is capable of. One last thing I must say is about the bluetooth system. I have it set to dock with my car's bluetooth and also to my home audio system. Unlike the HTC One M*, this thing is smart as a whip. It automatically syncs to both. Get into the car...done deal. Turn the car off, walk into the house...done deal. Consequently I play my music virtually all the time from the 40 odd albums I loaded onto a SD chip on the phone through my home audio system,. Sounds exquisite. Buy it folks. You wont regret it.Read full review
