    These are good headphones.

    I like this in ear (not canal) style as it allows me to listen to music without tuning out the world around me. The sound is very good. I would not rate the sound as exceptional but they definitely perform better than expected with a good overall tonal quality. The lows are warm but not punchy and the mids and highs are accurate. These are not audiophile quality but they are good for everyday use and I find them very comfortable to wear. I'm going to buy another pair as I am constantly destroying headsets when I work out.

    Worst Sony product that I have ever owned.

    I have had dollar-store earbuds that had better sound quality than these. Absolutely NO bass and a very tinny sound. I still have some ten-year-old Sony MDR earbuds that STILL sound excellent after all these years. Man, the sound quality sure has turned to crap on these newer ones.

    Good Value; but basically disposable garbage earbuds.

    I bought these because I needed cheap in ear headphones. I like the color options; audio quality is only ok at best. I dislike how they sit in my ears; too clumsy. This product is on the average side of audio for cheap in ear headphones; but in ear headphones generally suck. So it's average amongst garbage. It's audio quality pales in comparison to the speakers in my psp. It's audio quality wavers at my AT studio headphones. It's audio quality trembles at my BX5 II near field monitors. It's audio quality commits suicide upon hearing my event 20/20s. There is some audio leakage and they are uncomfortable; basically disposable buds. Which is what I treat these as.

    Expected more from Sony

    This product is labeled Sony, But sound quality has no base, And no surround sound, just high pitch treble sound; I have a Panasonic with much higher quality; Not sure if genuine; Many thing I buy from Ebay that seems like after market, But with brand name.

    these will work really well. only issue is they made not last long. they are a consumable.
