I was looking for something low cost that would give me a really good HD picture and this is really good for the money. + it integrated perfectly with all my video editing software with no issues. 1 thing I had to figure out which took some time Is I use a professional audio microphone, and there were some audio synching issues. but I have that all worked out now. I am very pleased with the performance and was able, to record , edit, and upload my videos. Since I bout it used on ebay, all I got was the camera, the software I downloaded from Logitech's web site. As far as what comes with it I do not know for sure. I may want to get a stand of some kind but the clip works ok and can double as a stand if I put something under it. (Books... or something flat.) Overall, very nice.

This camera is pretty good, especially with lighting and adjustments. I used OBS studio in Ubuntu Linux 18.04.4 MATE 64bit on an Acer Chrombook C720p. and set it up with GUVCVIEW. Lighting with a LumaCube Panel Mini.

This webcam is the best entry level camera you can find on the market. It's price, ease of use, and quality are all top notch. If you do decide to upgrade from this then congratulations, your streaming platform must be successful. Because at this price point nothing comes close to its performance. That's the reason for the last 8 years this is the go to camera for all beginner and intermediate streamers

Logitech has released follow-ups to the C920 in the last few years, but it's a tough model to improve upon. Unless you really need 4k capture, or 1080p @ 60 fps (C920 tops out at 1080p @ 30fps, or 720p @ 60 fps), this is about the best model out there from any manufacturer. Since C920's have been out for years, they can be had pretty cheap (new or used), and with a Windows machine they're plug-and-play. I have no experience with MacOS (nor do I ever hope to). I have 2 of these; one that is a Carl Zeiss model and one that's a standard C920. I've never compared them, but I can tell you both work great. Logitech's free "Logi-Capture" software is outstanding also and works seamlessly with these models. If you need a web cam and want one that will do the job well for years, get a C920.

There’s a reason it has been the go to for years. Too of the line, quality picture, very easy to setup and use. Highly recommended .

This one is not the newest with the LOGI logo on the face plate. This one still has the circuitry that gives you the high quality full focus, resolution and color. Logitech shot themselves in foot when changing production site to different countries and quality and color and sharpness have gone by the wayside.

Good webcam, voice capture is very good, much better than some microphone! Image is OK, beat other $10 webcam a lot. Only used it once, will see what happens in future.

The image quality is good, the software to adjust stuff is adequate, and the microphone is also adequate. The sort of people who care that the software and mic are only adequate, rather than great, aren't the sort of people likely to depend on them. People who just need to be seen and heard will be entirely satisfied. People who care about exposure settings/color/white balance/audio quality are going to be doing other things (e.g., dedicated lighting arrangements) or using other equipment/software (e.g., external microphone, OBS, etc.) to meet their needs.
