I bought this phone to replace my Motorola droid x2 because the battery life was horrible on it and needed something with more umph. Although the battery life is a little better than the X2 that I had it is still bad, I have to charge it every morning when I get off work and that's a 8 hour period from when I previously charge it. What I do like about this phone is that it has 4g and honestly it is really fast compared to 3g. All the apps open up quick without issues. What I don't like about this phone is, if you don't have a case to make it a little more bulky than you'd end up dropping it cause of how slippery it is. Another thing I don't like about this phone is it has become very laggy when trying to text and that is very bothersome. I've only owned about five phones in my life as of typing now, but this has to be one of the best so far especially compared to the Droid x2.Read full review

This is the best smartphone on the market. Currenlty, it's considered "out of date" since it is the S3, however, it should be brought back as it is a well-made, well-designed, great working product. This is one of those "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"s that should have been applied by Samsung to its phones. Aside from being aesthetically nice looking, it has a comfortable weight to hold in your hand, fits your hand nicely and just "feels right". The curved corners are a different degree of angle than other phones and this adds to the feel of the phone when you hold it in your hand. The touch sensitivity is almost too sensitive, meaning, you don't have to use much pressure at all to get it to respond. This model has a front camera which is fewer pixels than the 8 mp back camera but, either one takes great pictures. This phone can handle all the apps I've ever tried to use on it and not one has been rejected by the phone. This isn't true of previous smartphones I've seen or used. Samsung ought to look back at this model and bring it back.Read full review

Nice phone. Good value for the money. Decent battery life. Nice large screen. I was looking for an easy to use replacement for my Droid 4 without having to renew my contract with Verizon or change my plan.. I am still getting used to the features it is quite different than my old phone, but I am very happy with the phone.
Everyone in my family has a Galaxy SIII. For under $100 you get a lot of features. I find that it is pretty durable too. If you buy one, do order an external battery charger and an extra battery or two as well. One battery gets me about 1 hours. RAther than put the phone on a charger, I swap batteries. It is also a good idea to have a charger for your car, especially if you are using GPS mapping.
