    No more creaking...

    I'm a big fan of these BB's. I have variants of this PF-thread-together BB on 3 bikes. Firstly, they solve the problem of creaky press-fit BB's. You need another special tool if you're going to do it yourself, but with less and less BSA BB's on new bikes, it will get used more and more. Secondly, it's also great that they're available in Angular Contact. No where on a bike is it more appropriate to use such a bearing than the BB. Lastly, if you're the type to service/change bearings and save the shells, this is one where it's actually worth doing. And pretty easy to press in & out relatively speaking...
