Very sharp versatile lens. I bought it to use as a companion to the 16-55 2.8. Between the two lens most focal lengths covering most situations. Had the 16-55 for awhile and the 50-140 is just as sharp even wide open. It's a little heavy but any internal zoom that's a 2.8 straight through would have to be. I used Canon for years and the Fuji XF 50-140 is a lot smaller than the Canon 70-200 L and just as sharp. The AF is very quick and accurate. In short if you need a longer lens you can't go wrong buying this lens. Don't waste your money on the cheaper slower Fuji zooms. None are in the same class as this lens.

This lens is incredible. Really good image stabilization and incredible sharp images. The zoom range is very smooth and I love that the lens hood has a small door that you can take off to adjust a circular polarizer instead of reaching in to the lens hood. The only thing I would have expected on a pro level zoom like this is a focus range limiter and a focus lock button. It does not have either of those but I rarely ever used them and the autofocus is very fast so the range limiter is not necessary. Also the building quality is spectacular and just feels so much better to use than the Nikkor 70-200mm that I have used on my previous camera. This one is very smooth in the focus ring and zoom ring and feels good in the hand.

I had rented this lens a couple of years ago along with some other Fuji gear when I was getting ready to switch manufactures and to mirrorless. I could not believe how sharp the images were and the colors were amazing. The edge to edge sharpness even at close to wide open aperture so was great. It’s a hearty beast of a lens but paired with my Fujifilm XT-4, it’s producing some spectacular images. New, they are pricy but still affordable in my opinion but getting one used in great condition like I did is the best way to purchase one as you can get a great lenses for a little bit less and that’s icing on the cake.

I have been looking for this lens for quite some time now for a good price. I understand that Fuji need to charge for the development, but it will also be out of reach for most amateurs like me. And I think we are more amateurs than professionals in the world. So I looked for a used one for half the price and found one. It is equally good as a new one. If you do not mind some minor scratches the choice is bigger than grade A of course. Mine was very nice, but you can see it’s been used. Still the best lens I own today, I love it!

Unbelievable results from a fairly priced lens. I find it about 70% as sharp as the Canon RF lens at similar 70-200mm full-frame equivalent. However, it’s much smaller and works great with the Fujifilm X-T3. Seems durable and I would say surprisingly sharp as a 75-210mm equivalent lens. At f/2.8, the aperture really opens up well to let in ample light for the extreme focus and distance shooting. This lens runs light years around the Fujifilm XF 55-200mm.
