This is our second and two big improvements. It has a better seal where the coffee grounds go, so steam stays inside, also this pot is drip-less and no mess. A Good machine!

Bought to replace another Kitchenaid that was great but no longer made. This one is terrible. It takes 30 minutes to complete a 12 cup brew cycle. Previous one did 14 cups in 10 minutes. The clock loses time and has to be reset at least weekly. Coffee is okay but not great. Very disappointed. We have found that Kitchenaid products are not what they used to be.

This coffee maker takes 25 - 30 minutes to brew a 12 cup pot. That's not an exaggeration, I timed it at 28 minutes! The "brew" button is also touchy and you have to press it hard & wait a few seconds to hear it beep & see it light up to make sure the thing brews. This is how it's worked since day one. On the good side, it does have a nice clean look to it. Basically it's a pretty machine that's useless!

I only needed the carafe because my husband broke ours. But now I have a spare coffeemaker when ours dies!! Love this coffeemaker!

This coffee maker is working very well so far. The materials used in the build of this coffee maker seem to be of a higher standard than other coffee makers I have purchased. Of course I paid a higher price for this one.
