The rotating brush ring delivers maximum power in both forward and reverse positions.     Great tool

    DeWalt & Bosch are tested to be some of the best Rotary Hammers in this range. This Dewalt D25263 is very competitive being the best in the DeWalt line up with 1 & 1/8 inch diameter drilling capacity with a 8.5 amp motor rating. I had borrowed a Bosch Rotary Hammer to clean some used bricks. The Bosch did a great job. I gave it back before getting all the bricks done. I bought the DeWalt, and some concrete hammer chisels. The DeWalt is a bit heavier, it works very similar but its better, its faster and stronger. It is what I hoped it would be, just better. It seems well built and very capable of hammering away at cement.

    Ready for work!

    Have not used it yet but it looks very heavy duty built. Looking forward to putting it through it's paces on some upcoming projects! I have been buying and using DeWalt tools for the past 25 years and they have not failed me yet!
