Package arrived well packaged. Very well actually. No visiblendamage to the box. I put the item aside as several other items arrived, and I wasn't going to be using it soon. When I opened it a few weeks later and removed the item from the box it was in pieces. I contacted trainz and they told me too bad, beyond the window of help. I understand this, but either way the sent a used and smashed item they listed as good. Given the description of new I wasn't in a hurry to check it. I'll avoid them.

Cheep way into DCC, easy for Kids to learn
This is a full function controller This unit a connect box and the power supply is all you need to get started on DCC. Marklin doesn't advertise that it does DCC but you can use it for turn outs and for DCC locomotives, When a friend told me I said NO WAY but it does and it is easier to remember the buttons than on a Digitracks controller where you have to memorize which dot on the screen means what. This is the red button one that means Marklin but Trix makes a green button one that is exactly the same software. and Both do DCC. All in all you should be able to get up and running with $175 (used) Does it have enough Power : Yup you can run a 1 scale Loco on it. Will it do DCC for n scale: Yup Minitrix is N scale and the green button one is sold with their starter sets. Is it easy to ...
