Fixed my Scotts 1642 lawn tractor
Excellent stator. If fixed my 18 year old Scotts 1642 lawn tractor. The battery needed replacement every year, as it was getting intermittent charge while the stator was failing gradually over time. After some basic diagnosis it became clear the old stator has shorted, while the diode was working fine. Replacing the stator fixed the chariging issue.
