The Metabones T Smart Adapter Mark IV- Canon EF/EF-S Mount Lens to Sony MB_EF-E-BT4 works well with many Canon EF lenses as well as other lenses with the EF mount. Focus can be slow, however, so I often switch to manual focus and use the A7Rii focus peaking feature to get my shot... This is not a good adapter (are there any?) for action or birding, however; for portraits, landscapes, and for stills, the adapter works well.

This adapter is a solid component that performs well in all conditions. I successfully utilized all of my ef canon and sigma glass to my A7RIII body without a hitch. The Cine version is a little bit bigger and more interesting than its counterpart. It uses a twist-lock mechanism that secures the lens. The twist-lock was new to me, but I actually preferred it after a while because of the tight fit. I believe it is a better connection method for the lens. Regardless, the adapter worked perfectly and saved me from having to buy a ton of Sony glass, which is awesome glass, but super expensive.
