Product Information

Michael Bay, the master of the big-budget blockbuster, directs this action film that is packed with emotion. With a planet-killing asteroid on a collision course with Earth, it's up to a motley crew of scientists and oil drillers (yes, oil drillers) to save the earth. With 18 days to impact, a team from NASA (led by Billy Bob Thornton) frantically tries to find a solution but ends up turning to an outside contractor. Harry Stamper (Bruce Willis) and his team of oilmen are called upon to save the planet as only they can. ARMAGEDDON may boast impressive special effects, but it's the cast--including Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, Steve Buscemi, and Owen Wilson--that gives the film its humor and heart. Tyler's father Steven Tyler and his band Aerosmith contributed the Oscar-nominated hit "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" to the soundtrack.

    Armageddon the Centurion collection director's cut

    Well this is another great movie to add to your collection if you don't already have it I highly recommended I only wish that they would have come out with this same version on Blu-ray I love director's cuts because they give you what they didn't give you in the movies

    Simply a fun movie

    A lot of people hate on Michael Bay, but I find his older movies entertaining. Armageddon is one of those movies. It’s a fun movie, and I am not afraid to admit that I like it. The criterion DVD video quality is sharp, and the extra footage fits well.
