Items were received as described but were not packaged in static-shielding materials prior to shipment. Memory modules are extremely static-sensitive and can easily be damaged by ESD (electrostatic discharge) during shipment. Items were shipped in common plastic. It is unknown if the DIMMs suffered latent damage. Seller stated "that's all he had at the time of shipment." Once again, I don't understand why this sort of thing occurs. ESD is real and items need to be properly protected from damage.
