Blood, guns, swords, asians, and a hot chick. Its got it all, right?... Not so much. =/ The game was really fun in the beginning, shooting and slashing dudes up in slo-mo, jumping from wall to wall. And the car chase scenes are really original with its use of "real time". Also, the soundtrack for this game is pretty awesome, as they compliment the gritty, grindhouse feel to this game. But after you have played through about three levels, you have pretty much played through the whole game. (Not meaning that you finish it, but that after this point, there is such little change to the gameplay and level objectives that it gets extremely repetitive) Its pretty much just kill everyone, close spawning doors, and jump here for every single level. It just gets really old. And there arent even any bosses in this game! The controls are really off, as Rubi (the main character) seldom actually jumps in the direction you aimed her, and this leads to the tedious task of constantly starting over....and over and over and over.... It does throw in some surprises though, like a level when you have to jump out a plane, and try to get to a parachute while avoiding debris. As for story, it's alright, except they don't tie up loose ends like they should have, the ending was very unsatisfying, you don't get the opportunity to kill certain people that you would kinda think would be on Rubi's hitlist, and I also wanted more of it to take place out of Hong Kong. I don't know if they left the loose ends un-tied so they could possibly make a second game, but with the overall outcome of the game, I highly doubt it's going to pull in enough popularity for that to ever happen. But overall, if you find it for like 15 bucks or something, I would grab it, cause it's still a fun game =) -Wet-2.5 out of 5-Read full review
I like the slow motion shooting while doing acrobatic moves. Shooting two people while flying through the air, sliding across the floor, sliding down ladders, etc. The traffic maps are very fun, jumping from car to car while trying to shoot people who are shooting at you from their car windows. Some of the things that I wish were possible include driving vehicles and playing multi-player. I also wish the game were longer, it took a day... although I guess I do have about half of the achievements yet to get. The "extra content" consists of biographies of the characters and some concept art. There are also challenges which include repeating any level to try getting higher scores and doing the "boneyard challenges" which is a bunch of courses with targets to hit while running through. The cussing in the game does seem to get a bit much.Read full review
Bought this game after having tried the demo from xbox live silver. it's a fun game, with pretty interesting characters. more so, you have to find little toy monkeys in each level, which adds a sense of humor to the game outside the dialogue. as the description says, most of the characters are pretty over-stylized, meaning their personalities are to the extremes. over all, it's a good game, but not one that I HAD to play before I die. just and interesting change of pace from the usual games in the shooter genre. P.S. in the true 70's style, they include a film scratch over lay to the game that can be annoying, however, you are able to turn that off in the options menu.
I would say this is a fun game, I enjoyed plying in and the extra content is pretty enjoyable too. The collectibles are not to hard to find, and there is an infinite number of combos that you can easily do, by just changing up the several moves that you know. Though the game could be a little longer, it is definitely one that I will be beating again. I would say that it is a cross between Mirrors Edge and call of duty, in the fact that it is a shooter and that it has a bunch of acrobatics that are not difficult to learn, and are easy to apply in a fight. I would recommend this game.
You have a gorgeous woman weilding guns and swords, what's not to like. The game reminds me a little of the Blood Rayne games and I love those games. The moves she makes in some cases and just awesome. One of my favorite moves is when she slides across the floor or table shooting at the bad guys, she can use the sword also after you upgrade a little. The music on there reminds me of the movie Kill Bill(Beatrix Kiddo) and I like it. Another reason I liked it is because there are not many game out where the lead character is a female. I love playing a gun carrying, butt kicking man character as much as the next guy, but sometimes that gets old. Something different is a good thing. This game is chuck full of guns, great acobatics, some sass talk from her. I have done some sword play, but I am just starting the game. It's already great and I just started. I hate a game that starts slow and loses my attention. This game does not do that. I recommend it to anyone. Excellent game.Read full review
A shooting game were you do slow-motion and acrobatic kills. It's a fun but kind of buggy game with a lot of charm. Definitely worth the price I paid to play this game.

I saw this game on Gamestop's website and decided to see how the game looked and was reviewd on youtube. I liked what I saw and decided to buy the game. This is a 3rd person shooter game, in which the gamer controls Rubi Malone who is a "problem solver". If you like hack and slash games with a great soundtrack this is a game you must get. This game has a 1970's feel to it. It is similar to the Grindhouse movie. A must have for anybody who likes to play games where you take down your enemies with a sword or an arsenal of weapons.
Great game.
