A futuristic racer, XG3 Extreme G Racing puts players in the driving seat of magnetic bikes that move faster than the speed of sound. Taking part in the Extreme G Racing League, players will navigate more than ten different circuits with 12 bikes, each of which can be raced in varying leagues at speeds ranging from 250-G to 1000-G. After choosing a team and bike (each of which has an intricate and detailed team history), players are required to win races in order to earn money and advance to the championship. Money can be used to upgrade the speed of a bike as well as its weaponry. Weapons, such as heat-seeking missiles and automatic gunfire, make up a portion of the arsenal with which to hinder your opponents. <br><br>Each league (of which there are four) consists of three races each. Once a league is beaten, access is granted to the next division, providing faster bikes and more complex tracks. In addition to the aforementioned league, Practice, Arcade, and Time Trial modes are available. Cooperative and competitive gameplay modes allow two players to work together as a team or up to four players to compete against each other on the tracks and bikes of their choosing. Each of the courses, sporting names such as Oceania and Siris Canyon, feature a variety of twists, turns, and loops that plunge into the ocean depths or rise high into the sky, defying gravity. The game's fast-paced, techno soundtrack is provided by the Ministry of Sound.

This was pure nostalgia
I used to play XG2 all the time on the n64 then my dad when the gamecube came out got XGIII i watched as he played and wanted to play my self, landmarks and such were stunning but its one the games that got lost among the stuff and gifted to a friend, i played it then at their place and i wished i got to play more honestly. Skip 15 odd years later and i see it on ebay for a sick price i had to grab, and it was just as good as i remember (also just as hard). This game is what i play when i get home and dont feel like playing new gen stuff. used to play it on the n64 when it was xg2 this is a gigantic step up and the best part is THE MUSIC HAS NAMES AND THE GRAPHIX ARE AWESOME i love this game its a legendary racer next to wipe out of course but i remember them both equally and i cant say which one i like the most cause i love them both so...yeah love this game and would recommend it to anybody
