This item is made of paper. She took extra precaution to wrap the pattern in a plastic pouch with a rigid cardboard insert so that it would not be damaged while being sent in the mail. She went another step further by placing this inside of a heavy plastic mailing envelope and sealing it tightly to protect from moisture and the elements.
