    Phone worked for a few days then could not communicate with the base unit after that.

    I received the item within a short time after I purchased it. It was packaged well and wrapped with several layers of bubble wrap for protection. After allowing the recommended 6 hours for a complete charging of the handset battery, I was able to use the phone. The sound quality was fine and the phone worked as expected. Unfortunately, after only a few days the handset would no longer communicate with the base even when sitting on the table right next to the base unit antenna. Unplugging the base unit to reset it and also removing and reinserting the handset battery, did nothing to change the situation. With a fully charged handset battery, the handset could not communicate with the base. There is a Handset Registration utility that can be used to register the hand set with the ...
