We purchased this clock for a family member who has both macular degeneration & memory loss. When we first plugged the clock in, it had already set itself, nothing for us to do. Our family member was very pleased with how well she could view & read this clock. We attached it to the wall for her at eye level & also a place where she could see it from her recliner. The cool thing about this clock, the screen dims itself at a certain time each evening. Great Clock
Mom has very poor eyesight. This clock is perfect. She can read it much better than any other clock. Also she's elderly and her memory is not what it used to be. She had been having difficulty in remembering what day of the week it is. She loves that the day and date were also displayed.

We have not had for very long, but I have not been asked "what day is it", much at all since I installed at her bedside. I had previously tried an alarm clock that had an abbreviated 'day display", which she had trouble registering, the large display and full "day of the week" has worked out extremely well, so easy to read and no confusion at all. Day clock for elderly
Mom was asking two or more times a day...what day is it? She is otherwise healthy but is 94 years old. I didn't necessarily day it was for memory loss and putt it in her room. She loves it and it makes her feel better not having to ask. I look in her room to see what day it is myself sometimes! It has definitely helped her in her day tho day life.
