    American History 101

    We must not forget our history, the good and the bad. Having a listing for businesses friendly to black travelers was a clear statement of white privilege and hatred. Some would like to place the same burdens on people of different religions, members of the LGBT+ community and more. We must NEVER allow such hatred to rule our country again. Know your history!

    A peek into a different time.

    The movie "Green Book" sent me searching for this ... guide. To me the fact that this guide exists is a bit jarring in that social separation between one people and another in the same society. An interesting collection of "safe zones" for african americans at that time. You WILL know some of these locations even if the business is gone.
