This iron is labeled Tyme so I assume it is legitimate but it doesn’t heat up well and the power light is always flashing and never becomes steady. It doesn’t heat up enough to curl very well. I have another Tyme iron and bought this for a backup. I guess you get what you pay for.

It curls quickly if you know how to do it. It takes practice but once you get the hang of it, it's wonderful. The fact that you can straighten and curl with one tool makes it even better.
