Well, a last minute email to Goodwill Good Skills resulted in a refund. There was a mistake in the description which said DVDs but the course was on CDs. Course was new, wrapped, quickly and safely delivered too. Good thing that I was polite and described the problem before leaving any feedback. I was prepared to bear this one, but was pleasantly surprised. This is a professional operation. A+++ THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

  • Excellent book detailing Savo Island from the Australian View

This book details many items either not covered or covered up in other books and official reports on the battle of Savo Island. Told from the Australian side it explains for example how the RAAF Recon crews did in fact report the movement of the Japanese fleet and to the best of their ability pass that info on in a timely fashion. This intel was for the most ignored and then mis-reported in the after action reports done by the USN. The books authors working with veterans and RAN information details the reasons for the loss of HMAS Canberra and the three USN Cruisers also lost and the actions of USS Chicago as well as the two DDs that should have detected the approach of the Japanese ships. Students of the early naval war in the Pacific should read this book and compare it with others ...

  • Great history lesson.

If anyone likes to read about the naval battles in the Pacific during WWII, then this is a good book to read.
