  • right spring for the job

    The new spring is of a heavier gauge with more coils than the old one which was of indeterminate age and origin. Throttle requires noticeably more effort to press with the new spring, the rest of the linkage is in good condition and is unmodified so I presume this is how Plymouth intended the pedal to feel. Carburetor link up parts are not cheap, but I did not want to compromise with such an important function. The spring looks authentic on a stock carburetor throttle return linkage set-up.
