  • Love the Pendergast series

This series is one of my favorites and I'm always looking forward to new books! Agent Pendergast isn't typical law enforcer and that makes the series more compelling.

  • These Authors Are An Absolute Must

I can't say enough about Preston and Child. Their work never fails to delight me. This is the second book in the trilogy of Brimstone, Dance of Death, and Book of the Dead. Their characterizations of Agent Pendergast and his archenemy/brother Diogenes are phenominal.Love Lt.DeAgosta too,well......pretty much everyone in this exciting world. Talk about action, adventure, thrills, chills, cliff hangers.......Take my advice, get into this series as soon as you can.

Great read. I am a mystery fan and couldn't put this novel down. I bought Book of Death a local bookstore. When I found that it was a sequel, I bought Dance of Death from Half.com. Yesterday I bought two previous books about the Pendergast, the main character. Highly recommended...particularly for those readers who love museums and their inner workings. This novel revolves around the American Natural History Museum in NYC which I visited recently, a fact which enhanced my enjoyment.
