Incorporating characters, settings, and storylines from the first four entries in Disney's blockbuster film series, this adaptation of Pirates of the Caribbean continues in the tradition of earlier LEGO games based on Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter. Over 20 whimsical levels are included as players guide "minifig" versions of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann across locales based on Port Royal, Tortuga, Isla de Muerta, Shipwreck Cove, and Sparrow's ship, the <i>Black Pearl</i>. <br><br>Characters will engage in lighthearted swordplay against soldiers, skeletons, and other enemies while solving puzzles and interacting with objects in the environment. As with previous titles in the LEGO series, you'll quickly assemble items throughout each area to reveal treasures, unlock secret areas, or to complete objectives. The action is once again viewed from a third-person perspective as up to two friends or family members work together on the same screen. Over 70 playable characters are included in total, with a "free play" mode allowing players to revisit their favorite scenes with their choice of heroes or villains.

    Well worth the loot to play in one of the greatest movies ever.

    I actually chipped in with my 8 year old son to buy this video game. I loved that we didn't have to buy four seperate games in order to enjoy the full adventures of Jack Sparrow. Filled with tons of characters, loads of treasure you need to find by compass, not to mention the mass of other booty you don't need a compass to find; this game is great. My kids love being able to play in one of their favorite movie sagas. Each movie comes to life in a way that Lego has become famous for. This game is well worth the $$. Now, if they would only come out with Lego "Lord of the Rings".........

    Almost perfect...but still awesome to own and play!

    I'll make this short and sweet... Gameplay: 10 The Lego Franchise has been kept simple and family-friendly...offering 'pickup-and-play' gaming style, while challenging players along the way. Audio: 9 - Actual voices for the characters would have made this even better. Video: 10 - Top notch all the way! Re-playability: 10 - As with all Lego games, you will need to revisit each area to access features or items after the initial play through. Overall: 9.9 - The lack of voice acting keeps this title from being perfect. However, this game remains awesome to play!

    Kids enjoy it as Easter gift!

    The music is good, as parent it's ok to hear it in background for the long kid's playing times. Easy enough for my 8 years old. Quality of the game is as new, I'm very satisfied.
