    Shocks for my 1999 Ford Ranger

    I put these on my truck after my son had driven it for several years and without changing any of the suspension components. Upon driving the truck for the first time, I knew that it needed shocks in a bad way........something my kid was oblivious to. I then ordered and subsequently put the Rancho shocks on the truck and although I did not have big expectations, the difference and ride quality was very apparent right away. I am very happy with these shocks and would highly recommend them even though a truck with fewer miles might not have as noticeable results.

    Much improved

    Installed these on a 2001 ford ranger with 80,000 miles and in need of a replacement, jarred my teeth. After install the ride is controlled and greatly improved however this still rides like a truck not sure if it's due to the age and design of the vehicle 4X4 XLT Off Road, or if other shocks would improve the ride but it can now be driven without a mouth guard. I would recommend them to others.
