I have known Sally and her work for a very long time. She tells me often how important the first three years of life are for later success. That is one of those things that sounds good but is actually hard to believe. Now with this book, that idea is clear as day. The best feature of Fun Baby Learning Games i s the organization. There is high-quality information about every age and stage of development from birth to age three. In addition, there are activities for each one that include simple instructions for how to do them and why. Here is the main theme that she follows--Through "play-and-learn" techniques you can keep fostering development every step of the way in these five areas: cognitive, motor, social/emotional, language and self-esteem. She says in many different ways that "every minute counts!" I am very pleased with the price of this new book (the lowest I found). I'm happy with the prompt shipping. The only problem was that the box was damaged during shipping. The new book itself sustained very minor cosmetic damage, no doubt from rough handling. The seller offered to send me a return label at no cost, which I do appreciate.
