However, I had prepared for that. I use a Western wool pad to cut up and insert that into the pockets. A half inch pad isn't too expensive and it keeps your horse's back cool. If you needed to, you could use a yoga mat. I am very pleased with the seller, good communication and fast shipping. The pad is well worth it and I will buy another.
