Surely the best compilation that have been put out of the ClassicS IV and 29 songs. All the hits and more. Sound ok some hizz on some of the tracks. But the minus is and what pisses me off is when, like on this edition they omit some singles like in this case "God know I loved her" from 1970 no 128 on Billboard & "Save the sunlight", "I knew it would happen" & "It's now winters day" from 1973-74. So puplishers don't use COMPLETE unless you can staad for it.
Always one of my favorites, this Classics !V compilation is the most comprehensive I've seen. Yost had a foggy, but mellow, voice that lent itself to heart-breaking melodies like "Traces", "Change of Heart" and "Stormy". He is the key to the group's success. "Pollyanna" is the 1st cut, and I hadn't heard that for 40 years--a truly good song, not unreminiscent of the 4 Seasons.
Only includes the "A" sides of their Capital releases but does include a number of the MGM recordings. Just enough track differences to be worth purchasing along with the Taragon CD.
