Transmitter OK, but---
I bought this to send audio from my satellite radio to my car radio. It works but the signal is not strong and will not override any other signal on the set frequency or one adjacent to it. This results in frequent drop outs of the audio, which could also be higher.. It is a real problem in major urban areas where nearly every FM frequency has a station. .If your car antenna is on the rear of the vehicle it may also be outside of the claimed range of the transmitter (10-30 feet).I bought this to send audio from my satellite radio to my car radio. weak FM signal makes this unusable
I bought this to replace a 10-year old Griffin device that wore out from use. The old one was great, producing good sound on my car radio. This new one has such a weak FM transmitter I can barely hear the sound over the background radio static. Other product reviews I subsequently read said the same thing. I should have read those reviews before ordering!
