    The transformer works great, and the dimmable base output is a nice feature! My only gripe would be that there is no clean way to re-seal the opened area of the trunk from water leaks due to the much smaller size of the ballast, as the factory ballast had a foam ring to seal itself against the trunk, and lack of sealing foam provided or even recommended. I used some household window foam and 3M tape to get the job done. Great working product otherwise!

    Fast shipping. Fast replies. Haven’t installed yet but hoping it works! *Updated review* The instructions were straightforward and text only, if you are visual you might have some trouble but I did not. I basically spliced in this ballast after I took out the old one, and it works great. You’ll need a few basic tools and electrical supplies but that’s to be expected. Test your neon equipment before disconnecting anything by unplugging and plugging back in the main power cord in the trunk that powers the ballast, you’ll know that the blast has gone bad if it flickers at all, and this fix will work for you then. Went from not working to lighting up nice and bright!
