Outstanding Lubrication!
I purchased this to replace the fluid in the 5-speed manual transmission of my VW Golf GTI VR6 with less than 70,000 miles on it. The difference it made in smoothness and gear selection was so impressive I immediately forgot the additional money it would have cost over other brands of synthetic gear lube. The transmission never shifted this good when the car was brand new... To put it in perspective it cost me less than $5.75 per 10,000 miles and now having experienced what it's done to improve the shifting quality I intend to change fluids much sooner the next time around.I purchased this to replace the fluid in the 5-speed manual transmission of my VW Golf GTI VR6 with less than 70,000 miles on it. Gear Oil is Gear Oil right? Well, I thought so too.. since inception I've been using 100% synthetic oils in all my vehicles and machinery.. the results for me equate to longer life. So switching to Syn Gear Oil is a no brainer.. I want my gear boxes t run forever too.. I'm on a GL1800 where my first and second gearbox oil changes resulted in very dark and thickened ugly excrement.. the Royal Purple Max-Gear 75w90 looks and smells way better than conventional oils..
