    Powerful Quad Core CPU, at half price.

    I just amazed by this processor capabilities, even so it was manufactured in 2007, this server grade processor outperform my 2009 Core 2 Duo E7600 by twice the speed. Use a quality cooler, this chip will runs cool and have the capabilities nearly like its newer Core i3 and i5 CPU's (I had one i7 laptop and I can tell this CPU really match with my i7 laptop CPU running at 3.4 GHz)

    Great Substitute for 775

    Have a couple Dell Inspirons that the kids mess with. Put GTX 960 in one, 750ti in the other bigger HD 8GB ram, bigger PS. So I did the swap from Q6600 to E5450. Pretty easy and both running better and also 80 watts TDP vs. 105 watts for the Q6600. Great conversion will give me another year at least out of the platform.
