Best Silverware I’ve owned
This is a wonderful set of silverware. It’s a great weight. The forks aren’t too sharp. The handles are flat and not too big which is important for me as I have limited drawer space. I purchased 2 sets of this about 8 years ago and through the years with grandkids, have lost some. I was so happy to find another set of the same ones. They don’t rust or bend. Not what I expected
I have a set of Henckels flatware in a different pattern (Opus), and Provence is much lighter weight, except the knife which is quite heavy. The design is pretty, but the utensils don't feel as substantial or comfortable when held. I was disappointed but kept the set anyway. Nice sturdy silverware
I had been considering a set of Oneida silverware, but when I came across this set of Henckels at Macy's (I didn't even know Henckels made silverware) I was immediately impressed. The knives do seem to spot a bit easy, but no surprise as they aren't as high of a grade of "stainless" so as to better hold an edge. A simple wipe always rubs away the spots. The spoons are strong enough to scoop ice cream and, though a little over-sized, are perfect for a big mouthful of ice cream, soup, or whatever else you're digging into.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Beautiful Flatware
I purchased a set of this beautiful flatware several months ago, and liked it so much that I purchased a second set. I love the forks! They have the heft I prefer, and they are exquisitely well balanced! Also, the knives are forged from a single piece of 18/10 stainless, so there's no problem with the blades loosening over years of use, and there's no possibility of rust forming where the blade meets the handle. Beautiful, quality flatware set
This is a beautiful set that is obviously excellent quality given that it is 18/10 stainless steel. The utensils feel good in the hand and look lovely on the table at each place. They are simple yet elegant. The knife handles even have a gentle curve that adds to that elegance. The knives are sharp enough to do some cutting. They do not have a dull butter knife edge. They wash up very well in the dishwasher, although I haven't had them long so time will tell. I do expect they'll hold up well though. I do not like the huge size of the flatware sold in many sets these days.
