The seller shipped fast! USPS let my package marinate in a local warehouse, so it ended up taking over a week to get it but this is not the sellers fault. The product arrived very well packed and in perfect working order. Item was as described. Would recommend this seller!

    Used Nikkor 80-200 F2.8 purchase

So far so good. Images are sharp, sharp, sharp. It works fine on my D300 and D7200 but for some reason the images seem sharper on the D300 which is odd. After experimenting with the AF fine tune on the D7200 it seems to be better but I don't think I have it 100% yet. I still have to check if focus speed is faster than the Tamron 70-200 F2.8 that I have and will do so at the next event I shoot but so far I'm happy with my purchase. Except for one or two scuff marks the lens is in good condition.

  • Great lens

Great lens, sharp, fast and great value. May not have the range of the venerable 70-200mm but better value. Solid lens which means it is on the heavy side especially in a smaller body but worth it.

  • Awesome lens , really fantastic shopping experience

I love this lens, it working properly and it functions well than I expected. It looks like new and through well maintained. The photographs are also sharp without dirty spots. It could switch the focus mode and aperture as well that I don't have anymore words to describe how great it is.The seller is really amazing friendly and replied all of my questions. I don't know about other, but that the best seller I ever met in ebay and it was definitely a nice shopping experience!

  • 5 stars if you know the af motor goes out

Like the title says it's a super lens but the autofocus motors go out. I have this lens and the new Nikkor 70-200 e fl vr ed. The new lens is sharper at 200 mm but if your not pixel peeping you won't know it. The bokeh with lens is fantastic. (To me) most say it just ok. It kinda has a swirly effect in the right light . I really like how that looks for single person portraits. The color and contrast at 2.8 is about the same as the new super Nikkor 70-200e. Probably better than the other 70-200s because of it lower lens element count. @ 80 mm f/2.8 this thing really shines too, razor sharp. Even the autofocus is pretty darn fast. I love love love this lens. It does flare easily so be aware of this. I like its flare most of the time . But it can cause problems sometimes.

  • Nikon Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8

The Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 is one of the sharpest lenses you can buy for a Nikon DSLR. Despite its age it still outperforms, or is equal to, modern lenses. Its build quality is like the one of a tank. The price is acceptable and reviews have convinced me that this lens will accompany me for many years to come. NOTE Before you buy it, be aware that over the years there are around a dozen versions of this lens manufactured. If you have a modern Nikon DSLR make sure you have 10 metal pins/connectors at the bottom of the lens mount. If you have less than the 10 pins the lens might not autofocus on your camera. This means that YOU HAVE TO make a lot of research in order to understand which version of this lens that fits your specific camera body. But when you know which version that fits your ...
