      My coolant problems on KTM 525

      First of all I use this on my KTM 525, the OEM cap has pressure bar of 1.4, not only that It's seals were worn, I tried to replace them with some king of rubber but still when the coolant gets hot, the rubber just deformed, and the coolant just Leaked thru the overflow pipe. So each time after a ride I had to top up my coolant since each ride, I lost some coolant along the way. After digging thru the forums I came across a high pressure cap 1.8 and after searching thru the eBay, I found this. This cured all the problems I had, Now I don't have to refill my coolant each time after ride, my bike runs smooth. Plus it has thermometer to show the engine temperature in real time. You can't beat this. It's good product. I will buy it anytime.

      Poor Fitment

      Bought this for my 2008 ktm 300 xcw. It fits but not very well. It was very hard to get on and I can't get it off with just my hand which is problematic. Over all the quality seems alright for the price but I will be looking in to other options since the fitment is so bad.

      Ktm 525 exc

      Fits snugger then stock when I first start my bike the needle is jumpy but as the temp rises the needle looses it’s shakiness an will maintain its steadiness as you ride definitely better then the stickers you can put on the block to tell the temp super easy to read. Definitely a good investment if u don’t want to overheat

      Quick and easy reference

      Quick and easy reference , on how hot my bike is running. Now I have installed a better water pump impeller and radiator fluid. Which is keeping my bike in the green at slow speeds. With no worries of over heating and damage to my bike!

      so far so good

      I also have a trail tech fan installed. the temp readings on both are always constant. But i can see the cap while riding. I like slow technical stuff, but am slow so bike tends to run on the warm side.
