Sweater arrived promptly in beautiful condition, however, there was a mistake in the listed size. Seller was very kind to refund promptly, and even told me not to worry with sending it back! Very good customer service to correct a listing mistake. Will certainly shop again!!

    Good Range, Easy Setup

I've purchased wi-fi "repeaters" before (the $15-$20 variety here on eBay) but have never spent this much even on a Router, much less a "range extender" (fancy word for 'repeater'?) so I was skeptical that it would be as useful as advertised. I almost changed my mind based on the price, but I needed a device that would be quality, and had a pass-thru outlet for other appliances. Linksys has always made very good looking products, and Belkin products almost tempted me away, because I have also had Linksys routers that did not perform well despite good looks. This product made up for all the bad things I have ever said about Linksys. It's an elegant design, the antennas are sturdy and adjust to various positions with a nice tactile click, and stay in position solidly, and they don't fee like ...

Improves things, but not a slam dunk

This device certainly extends the Wifi reach. The caveat is that while the signal is stronger, it does not totally reflected in the data speeds, which is what ultimately matters. In other words, it you measure the download speeds, they are significantly lower compared to what you would expect with a good signal (both between the router and the extender and the extender and the laptop). With that said, it does improve things and enables connectivity in areas that struggled badly before. The price of the unit is very reasonable and the setup is user friendly and intuitive. The size of the unit is also nice and not intrusive. Wish the data re-transmission was handled better.

  • Easiest Ranger Extender Ever

I have an older Linksys router and was finding it difficult to cover my entire house with it. This range extender did the trick. Now my house (and yard) has dependable wi-fi everywhere. Great product - easy set up, easy install, easy to use.

  • Very good quality product

Dont be tempted by cheap 20 $ prize of some foreign made extenders. This ones 4 X prize and 8X the range. I got 2 chinesse extenders bitting dust now. They would only go through 1 wall otherwise the speed was unacceptable. Maybe their laws for RF there are different or something. If you expect range of a typical ISP router here in US this is the product for you!

  • Pretty Good

Had a few problems setting it up at first. Tried the wireless set up in the same room as the router (2 different outlets) and it didn't want to hook up. Then did the hardwire set up and it has been working perfectly ever since. The bummer is I was hoping to put it in our garage but the signal isn't strong enough for it to go out there and now we need to get another extender. We live in a 1000sq ft ranch style home (single wall construction) with the router on one end of the house and the garage on the other. Right now the router is in a good spot on the inside wall that is shared with the garage. The signal catches in the garage, but not enough to run a TV watching VUDU etc. Overall not bad and does increase the signal, but I was hoping for a bit more.
