Did not work properly.
The SD cards do not work on it & nor the USB either. Wasn't able to print.could not get driver to connect to printer on line. When I was able to get one photo to print it was ok. I had to order another printer & different. Wasted my money.

Good Solid HP Photo Printer
I bought one of these 2 years ago at Christmas for my wife. We have used it on and off since then. Though the printer is a little slow to print [about 2 minutes to print at best quality], the prints are quite nice and the HP ink is waterproof so the prints really do hold up. There is nothing better than taking pics at an event and being able to load the camera's SD card into the printer and print them then and there. The printer has a slot for a rechargeable battery [I recently bought one on ebay] which allows one to print up to 70 pics per charge [haven't tested this out yet]. Also, HP sells a pack with an ink cartridge and 140 sheets of their photo paper for about $50US which makes the cost per photo around 36 cents, which is not too bad for being able to print at your leisure ... I love this printer! The monitor on top is great for actually seeing what you're printing. It's nice to be able to make photos in full, half, or quarter sizes, especially for scrapbooking. The pictures print clearer and nicer than CVS's instant print kiosk. Nearly equal to 1-hour photo processing. The only downside is that ink runs out quickly, making for an expensive printer when used frequently. I suggest using typical developing for 4x6s and this printer for the smaller sizes.I love this printer! The monitor on top is great for actually seeing what you're printing. The printer uses an HP 110 cartridge that can usually print about 100 4x6s before needing to be replaced. The buyer should note, this printer only prints on 4x6 paper. The only drawback with the A516 is it can be slow if more than five pictures are scheduled to print at once. An easy solution, have another printer to use in tandem.
